NCAA DI Baseball Program

Sacred Heart University Baseball - CT

Sacred Heart University baseball competes at the NCAA DI level in Metro Conference and is based in Fairfield, CT. Campus enrollment is about 7,087 students. The published acceptance rate is 65%. Recent baseball results include 2026: 17-32. Listed coaches include TK Kiernan, Pat Egan, Mark Nofri, and Chris Mazza.

Sacred Heart slipped to 17–32 overall and 13–16 in MAAC play after a 28–26 spring, missing the conference tournament. Pat Egan (tenure since 2023) leads the Fairfield, Connecticut, DI Pioneers in his fourth listed season. Public schedules confirm a tough non-conference slate that left little margin once MAAC weekends tightened. Families weighing a 47-player 2027 roster should treat a return to .500 MAAC baseball as the immediate rebuild target.
