NCAA DI Baseball Program

Iona University Baseball - NY

Iona University baseball competes at the NCAA DI level in Metro Conference and is based in New Rochelle, NY. Campus enrollment is about 2,951 students. The published acceptance rate is 87%. Recent baseball results include 2026: 19-28. Listed coaches include Conor Burke, Mike Scimanico, Alex Andrew, Andrelys Payamps, Joe Matarazzo, and Robert Cruz.

Iona finished 19–28 overall and 15–14 in MAAC play, a modest conference climb from 13–17 a year earlier even as the full record stayed just under .400. Conor Burke leads the New Rochelle DI Gaels through a league slate that left the club on the tournament bubble rather than in the bracket’s upper half. With no postseason result listed, the story is incremental MAAC progress. Families weighing a 24-player 2027 roster should look for a winning league mark before projecting deeper May baseball.
