Long Island University went 30–22 overall and 26–7 in Northeast Conference play, then swept the NEC Tournament for a fourth conference title before NCAA Regional losses to Georgia and Boston College in Athens. That followed a 35–23, 24–6 spring in 2025, so the Brookville Sharks remain the NEC’s clearest standard under Dan Pirillo. Families weighing a 35-player 2027 roster should expect NEC dominance and an NCAA regional as the annual bar, with the next step a regional win.
