Army finished 28–20 overall and 17–9 in Patriot League play, sharing the regular-season title and earning the No. 1 tournament seed before a semifinal sweep by Holy Cross ended the spring. Chris Tracz leads the West Point, New York, NCAA Division I Black Knights after a clear step up from 25–25 a year earlier. The series win at Navy clinched the top seed via the Bucknell tiebreaker. Families weighing a 46-player 2027 roster should treat another PL title chase—and a deeper May run—as the near-term bar.
