The players who understand recruiting are the ones who get recruited
Talent is only part of the equation. The families who learn how the process works — early — make better decisions, develop with purpose, and are ready when coaches start paying attention.
Preparation builds confidence
Families who understand how recruiting works get to enjoy the journey — making informed decisions at every step instead of guessing.
Coaches watch more than the box score
A coach at your game is often watching your warm-up, your body language after a strikeout, and how you treat teammates in the dugout more than your results. Knowing what they value lets you work on the right things.
You cannot target what you do not understand
D1, D2, D3, NAIA, JuCo — every level fits a different player. Learning where you realistically fit saves years of chasing the wrong schools.
Coaches recruit who they know
Coaches get to know players on X long before an offer. Build that network while you develop, and your information is shared with college coaches so programs can follow your progress.
Everything included with your membership
Prospect List Membership is built around education — helping your player understand the process, build a network of college coaches, improve with purpose, and stay visible while they develop.
Learn where you fit
Understand the differences between D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JuCo baseball — and build a realistic picture of where your game, academics, and goals line up.
Learn what coaches look for
Get inside the college coach's perspective: what they evaluate, when they evaluate it, and what separates the players they pursue from the players they pass on.
Improve on and off the field
Coaches often care more about how you prepare for a game than how it turns out: your routine, your energy, how you respond to a bad at-bat, how you pick up teammates, and how you take coaching. Learn what they watch and build habits in school, online, and at the field that show up on game day.
Build your X network of coaches
X is where coaches post camps and roster needs and look players up. Get the X accounts for coaches at every program, follow the right staffs, and learn how to show who you are as a player and teammate.

Your player profile is included in the Prospect List shared with college coaches regularly, so programs can follow your development as you grow.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly is the Prospect List?
The Prospect List is an educational membership for high school baseball players — primarily freshmen, sophomores, and juniors — preparing to play college baseball. If you are a Senior, we strongly recommend Prospect List Premium or Mentorship. Members learn where they fit, build a network of college coaches on X, learn what coaches are looking for, and work on how they prepare and compete on and off the field, while their information is shared with college coaches regularly. Membership also includes monthly calls, Q&A sessions, guest college coaches, and a regular education newsletter.
Why does X matter in recruiting?
X is where many college coaches post camp dates, roster needs, and commitments, and where they look up players they hear about. Members get the X accounts for coaches at every program so they can follow the right staffs and build that network early, plus guidance on what a recruit's profile and posts say to a coach. Our free X Bio Generator helps you set up a profile coaches can read in seconds.
Do coaches really care more about preparation than results?
Results matter, but one game is a small sample, and coaches know it. What they can judge in one visit is how you prepare: how you warm up, how you carry yourself after a mistake, how you treat teammates and coaches, and whether you play hard when nothing is on the line. Members learn what coaches are watching so they can build those habits long before a coach is in the stands.
How much does it cost?
Prospect List Membership is $14.99 per month, or $149 per year (save 17%). You can cancel anytime. We also offer one-time plans — Prospect List Premium and Prospect List Mentorship — for families who want direct 1-on-1 support from Ross; those plans include all membership benefits.
How is this different from a paid plan?
Prospect List Membership is about education and preparation — learning the process, improving with purpose, and staying visible to coaches. When the time is right to dig deeper into recruiting, Prospect List Premium ($1,449, one-time) adds a personalized school fit list, direct introductions, and 1:1 access to Ross as he advocates for your player. Prospect List Mentorship ($2,849, one-time) covers every stop of your player's college career. Both include all membership benefits.
What happens after I join?
After joining, complete your player profile and you will automatically be included in the Prospect List shared with college coaches. From there, start learning: explore the college database, build your favorite schools list and activity tracker to see how coaches build rosters, use the communication templates and recruiting guide, and join the monthly calls and Q&A sessions as they become available.
What divisions and programs are included?
Your information is shared across all levels of college baseball — Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College (JuCo). Learning the real differences between these levels, and where your player fits, is a core part of the membership.
When should my player join?
Freshman, sophomore, and junior year is the ideal time — the membership is built for players who are preparing, not just players being actively recruited. Starting early means more time to learn what coaches value, develop with purpose, and let programs follow your progress. The sooner you start, the sooner you start learning.
How does this lead to working with Ross?
Membership prepares your player and family for the next step. When the time is right to dig deeper into the recruiting process, Ross works directly with the player through Prospect List Premium or Mentorship — advocating for them with college programs. Members arrive at that step educated, developed, and already on coaches' radar.
Can I upgrade to a plan later?
Yes. Prospect List Membership is the foundation of your Baseball Forward account. You can purchase Prospect List Premium or Prospect List Mentorship at any time — both include all membership benefits, and your monthly/annual membership billing will be canceled automatically when you upgrade.
