Middle Tennessee closed 26–31 overall and 12–18 in Conference USA play, returning to the CUSA Championship before pool-play exits against Western Kentucky and Jacksonville State. That was a slight uptick from 23–32 and 8–19 in 2025 under Jerry Meyers (tenure since 2023). Murfreesboro’s DI club remains a mid-pack CUSA program hunting consistency. Families recruiting into a 37-player 2027 roster should treat CUSA Tournament baseball as the near-term standard.
