NCAA DI Baseball Program

Austin Peay State University Baseball - TN

Austin Peay State University baseball competes at the NCAA DI level in United Athletic Conference and is based in Clarksville, TN. Campus enrollment is about 7,560 students. The published acceptance rate is 96%. Recent baseball results include 2026: 24-31. Listed coaches include Keirce Kimbel, Roland Fanning, Jon Littell, John Bakke, and Andrew Devine.

Austin Peay’s 2026 (24–31, 14–16 conference) was a steep drop from the 45–14 / 26–4 tear the year before, and the Governors’ season ended with a first-round conference tournament loss. That year-over-year swing — not a missing identity — is the clearest program signal heading into 2027. Roland Fanning is the head coach tasked with regaining the prior ceiling. Recruiting should read as a bounce-back opportunity after a reset, with families weighing the 2025 peak against the 2026 floor.
