NCAA DIII Baseball Program

Millikin University Baseball - IL

Millikin University baseball competes at the NCAA DIII level in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and is based in Decatur, IL. Campus enrollment is about 1,382 students. The published acceptance rate is 67%. Recent baseball results include 2026: 35-10. Listed coaches include John Hickman, Brandon Townsend, Kevin Koslofski, Ryan Janssen, Mike Mose, and Dylan Hamilton.

Millikin posted a historic 35–10 overall and 15–5 CCIW mark, winning both the regular-season and tournament titles before hosting the NCAA Decatur Regional—where the Big Blue fell to Wisconsin–La Crosse and Wartburg. Brandon Townsend heads the Decatur, Illinois, DIII staff after that leap from 23–20 a year earlier. Families recruiting into a 49-player 2027 roster should treat CCIW contention and an NCAA regional berth as the new baseline.
