Lewis University Baseball - IL

Lewis University baseball competes at the NCAA DII level in Great Lakes Valley Conference and is based in Romeoville, IL. Campus enrollment is about 4,015 students. The published acceptance rate is 71%. Recent baseball results include 2026: 21-28. Listed coaches include Julio Godinez, Jack Murphy, Christian Mitchelle, Brandon Mahler, Cameron Robinson, and Davis Johnson.

Lewis finished 21–28 overall and 13–17 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play, a steep drop from 37–18 and 24–8 a year earlier that pushed the Flyers out of their recent GLVC stride. Julio Godinez now leads the Romeoville, Illinois, DII staff after a June 2026 hire. The immediate task is restoring the win total that made Lewis a conference threat. Families recruiting into a 51-player 2027 roster should treat the next cycle as a reset under new leadership rather than a continuation of the 2025 peak.
