NJCAA DI Baseball Program

Lake Land College Baseball - IL

Lake Land College baseball competes at the NJCAA DI level in Great Rivers Athletic Conference and is based in Mattoon, IL. Campus enrollment is about 2,448 students. Recent baseball results include 2026: 39-18. Listed coaches include Bert Bradley, Gabe Black, Tyler Conklin, and Michael Flier.

Lake Land finished 39–18 overall and 20–10 in Mid-West Athletic Conference play, a strong NJCAA DI spring that followed a 45–21, 24–10 campaign in 2025. Gabe Black heads the Mattoon, Illinois, Lakers after the recent staff transition. Even without a listed postseason result in the fact pack, the win total keeps Lake Land among the MWAC’s clearer standards. Families weighing a 41-player 2027 roster should expect competitive conference baseball and watch how the new staff shapes the next cycle.
