NJCAA DI Baseball Program

Kaskaskia College Baseball - IL

Kaskaskia College baseball competes at the NJCAA DI level in Great Rivers Athletic Conference and is based in Centralia, IL. Campus enrollment is about 1,920 students. Recent baseball results include 2026: 20-28. Listed coaches include Kyle Floyd, and Mitch Koester.

Kaskaskia closed 20–28 overall and 11–19 in Mid-West Athletic Conference play, finishing eighth and missing the postseason after a similar 22–27, 14–16 spring in 2025. Mitch Koester heads the Centralia, Illinois, NJCAA DI Blue Devils at Larry Smith Field. The near-term read is a rebuilding MWAC club still looking for a cleaner league finish. Families recruiting into a 34-player 2027 roster should watch whether the return group can climb out of the bottom third before treating Region 24 baseball as realistic.
