NCAA DI Baseball Program

Bellarmine University Baseball - KY

Bellarmine University baseball competes at the NCAA DI level in Atlantic Sun Conference and is based in Louisville, KY. Campus enrollment is about 2,161 students. The published acceptance rate is 86%. Recent baseball results include 2026: 19-34. Listed coaches include Ross Goldschlag, Ben Reel, Gregg Oppel, Seth Sweet-Chick, Brian Campbell, Vince Tornincasa, and 2 additional coaches.

Bellarmine’s ASUN marks stayed in a familiar band — 19–34 overall and 11–19 in league play in 2026 — while still matching the program’s Division I-era conference-win high-water mark. First ASUN series wins (including a March comeback at North Alabama) show progress without a finished peak under head coach Ben Reel. For 2027, recruiting is about adding difference-makers on a roster that is competitive in spots but not yet a tournament regular. Families should expect a development-minded ASUN climb.
