Salt Lake Community College Baseball - UT

Salt Lake Community College baseball competes at the NJCAA DI level in Scenic West Athletic Conference and is based in Salt Lake City, UT. Campus enrollment is about 18,136 students. Recent baseball results include 2026: 39-18. Listed coaches include Glen Spencer, David Nelson, Chris Shelton, and Dusty Nielsen.

Salt Lake reached 39–18 overall and 15–9 in conference play, winning the Region 18 title and a West District berth before an 0–2 exit at the NJCAA DI World Series. David Nelson heads the Salt Lake City, Utah, Bruins, who returned to the JUCO World Series for a second straight year as defending national champions entering the event. Losses to Blinn and Midland closed the national run. Families recruiting into a 41-player 2027 roster should treat another district title as the standing expectation.
