Northeastern State went 16–32 overall and 11–25 in MIAA play, nearly mirroring a 16–35, 13–23 spring in 2025. Kyle Williams (tenure since 2024) leads the Tahlequah, Oklahoma, DII RiverHawks. Shortstop Klete Finley earned All-MIAA third-team notice, but team wins stayed scarce. Families weighing a 41-player 2027 roster should treat climbing out of the MIAA lower half as the near-term bar.
