Missouri Valley endured a 3–45 overall and 3–25 Heart of America Conference spring (15th), a sharp drop from 12–34 a year earlier under first-year head coach Mike DeMilia. The Marshall, Missouri, NAIA Vikings sit at the bottom of a deep HOA and face a full rebuild. Families recruiting into a large 82-player 2027 roster should treat early conference wins and roster continuity as the immediate priorities before projecting tournament baseball.
