NJCAA DII Baseball Program

Jones County Junior College Baseball - MS

Jones County Junior College baseball competes at the NJCAA DII level in Mississippi Association of Community Colleges and is based in Ellisville, MS. Campus enrollment is about 3,535 students. Recent baseball results include 2026: 41-18. Listed coaches include Wes Thigpen, Trey Harrington, Jonathan Parker, Reece Ewing, and DJ Allred.

Jones punched a ticket to the NJCAA Division II World Series for the first time since 2016, finishing 41–18 overall and 18–10 in MACCC play under Wes Thigpen. The Ellisville Bobcats won Region 23 and Super Regional titles before the national tournament run ended in Enid. For families, the near-term read is a Mississippi JUCO that just restored May baseball on the national stage. A program that wins 40-plus and reaches the World Series sets a high recruiting bar for 2027.
