NJCAA DI Baseball Program

Baton Rouge Community College Baseball - LA

Baton Rouge Community College baseball competes at the NJCAA DI level in Louisiana Community Colleges Athletic Conference and is based in Baton Rouge, LA. Campus enrollment is about 8,362 students. Recent baseball results include 2026: 6-49. Listed coaches include Braxton Boudoin, Kevin Vanasselberg, Jonathan Parker, and Chase Honeycutt.

Baton Rouge CC took heavy losses the last two springs (6–49 and 5–45), including nearly empty conference win columns, so this is a clear rebuild environment — even after a Region XXIII tournament berth as a lower seed that ended against LSU-Eunice and Delgado. Jonathan Parker is the head coach entering 2027 with that gap to close. Recruiting should read as opportunity on a young NJCAA roster still building baseline competitiveness. Families will see honesty in the recent record and a program that at least reached regional May baseball.
