NCAA DII Baseball Program

Barry University Baseball - FL

Barry University baseball competes at the NCAA DII level in Sunshine State Conference and is based in Miami, FL. Campus enrollment is about 2,212 students. The published acceptance rate is 77%. Recent baseball results include 2026: 23-26. Listed coaches include Ben Terwilliger, DJ Price, and Dean Kanganis.

Just under .500 overall the last two SSC seasons (23–26, 24–26) while conference play lagged (8–21, 12–18) means Barry has been closer in non-league than in the Sunshine State. DJ Price is the head coach navigating one of DII’s deeper leagues. For 2027, recruiting is about closing that SSC gap rather than selling a finished mid-pack brand. Families should expect a South Florida program competing weekly against elite conference depth.
